As a wife of 33 years to her husband Dan, and mother to two grown children, Shannon and Tyler, family is everything to Roberta. Roberta has been dedicated to others through her volunteer work as an Ohio 4-H advisor for over 36 years. Growing up one of seven children on a small farm in Portage County, Ohio, she learned about the importance of agriculture and being able to raise and grow what was needed for the family. Being a 4-H alumni, former fair queen, respiratory therapist, and marrying into the hardwood industry has given her a wide variety of experiences.
SHANNON GALLAGHER WINGERT
National Operations Manager
Shannon Gallagher Wingert is involved in all area of operations as well as designer for Miss Ag Swag. Shannon is a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Entrepreneurship and Marketing. She comes to us with a background of 14 years in Ohio 4-H, 4-H advisor for 11 years, former Portage County Fair Queen, and rich with agriculture, marketing and social media experience. Shannon is married to dairy farmer, Ben Wingert, who co-owns and runs a 2,000 head dairy farm. They make their home in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
National Accounting Manager
Jamie Silvis is a graduate from Penn State University from the Department of Agriculture with a degree with Wildlife and Fishery Science and Land Management. Jamie was born and raised in State College, Pennsylvania where she is raising her daughter, Riley. Jamie and Riley enjoy aquaponics by growing herbs right in their kitchen. Riley is a 4-H member and participates did a variety of different projects from basket making to market chickens. Jamie was the PTO treasurer for two years at her daughter's school. Jamie comes to the team as the Accounting Manager, keeping everything organized and accounted. She also plays a huge role in Miss Ag Swag.
