Agriculture Girls

Agriculture Girls

It’s cool to be in agriculture. That might sound a bit corny to teenagers today, but girls should and need to be involved. Farming isn’t just a man’s world. There are plenty of women worldwide who are hands on running farms, raising cattle, measuring and managing natural resources for harvest, and working on the front lines of agricultural improvement. Agriculture girls are involved and what better way to celebrate their role than with a Miss Agriculture program? Advocacy takes many forms, but the pageant approach has long been part of America’s social fabric. Girls and young ladies can easily compete for and take on the role of advocacy leader for their community’s agriculture, helping educate and boost the awareness level of their region in how important agriculture is to everyone. So, if the idea of agriculture girls gives you a puzzled look, find out more. It simply means you’re not involved enough yet to see the integral role women play in today’s agriculture and its marketing.
