We strive to run the Miss Agriculture USA program by following the Golden Rule. We treat others the way we wish to be treated. We strive to do our best and continue to make our best better. Our staff and volunteers are committed to the Miss Agriculture USA program, queens, and their families. With this in mind, we ask you to be a positive representative for our Miss Agriculture USA program.

 

As a Miss Agriculture USA queen you will agree to the following:

 

• Miss Agriculture USA queens will, at all times, be courteous, polite, respectful, and act in a professional manner to EVERYONE and will maintain a professional appearance and conversation while representing the Miss Agriculture USA program.

 

• Miss Agriculture USA queens will strive for positive interactions with each other and shall not make comments, whether written or verbal, in a manner that would be considered slander or libel to other Miss Agriculture USA queens or ANY person or persons in attendance at any event or appearance.

 

• Miss Agriculture USA queens will display exceptional sportsmanship and behavior.

 

• Miss Agriculture USA queens, when wearing her crown or sash, will not allow photos to be taken of her, individually or in a group, which would be deemed inappropriate or demeaning to the crown, title, or Miss Agriculture USA program.

 

• Miss Agriculture USA queens may not smoke while wearing their sash or crown. This includes legal or illegal substances. Miss Agriculture USA queens will not actively promote the cannabis and hemp industry. 

 

Any violations of the code of conduct can/may result in disciplinary action and revocation of the title, crown, and sash. There will be no refund of registration fees if you give your title up or it is revoked. Always strive to be positive enthusiastic AGvocates for Agriculture.

In addition,

• I understand that all information is communicated through the Miss Agriculture USA Queens Group on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/MissAgricultureUSAQueens/. I understand that it is my responsibility to join the queen group and to stay up to date with all information.

​

• Miss Agriculture USA may change the date/location of the National Competition if deemed necessary.

​

• I release from liability and waive my right to sue Miss Agriculture USA, their staff and/or volunteers from any and all claims, including claims of the negligence, resulting in any physical injury, illness (including death), or any loss I may suffer during my participation in any event, travel to and from any events (including air travel), or anything incidental to events hosted by Miss Agriculture USA. I agree to hold Miss Agriculture harmless from any and all claims, loss or damage to my personal property, liabilities and costs, including attorney’s fees, as a result of my participation in any event hosted by Miss Agriculture USA, including travel to and from any event (including air travel).

• If the parent of a minor (under 18): I am the parent or legal guardian of the Participant. I have read this document, and I am agree to it freely by signing up to be part of Miss Agriculture USA. I understand the legal consequences of this document, including (a) releasing Miss Agriculture USA from all liability on my and the Participant’s behalf, (b) waiving my and the Participants’ right to sue the Miss Agriculture USA, (c) and assuming all risks of Participant’s participation in any event, including travel to and from events (including air travel). I allow the Participant to participate in all events. I understand that I am responsible for the obligations and acts of the Participant as described in this document. I agree to be bound by the terms of this document.
