Below, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about becoming a National Miss Agriculture USA AGvocate, the qualifications, and how to apply.

An AGvocate is more than just a title; it’s a role that empowers passionate individuals to continue AGvocating for agriculture, promote awareness on social media, and play a key part in the cherished Miss Agriculture USA organization.


This program allows those who’ve previously held National Queen or Runner-Up titles to stay actively involved while mentoring, spreading awareness, and representing the organization’s values.

Qualifications to Apply


Before you can join this exciting program, there are a few essential qualifications you’ll need to meet. Ensure you meet the criteria below to proceed with your application:


1. Past Queen or Runner-Up

To qualify, you must have previously served as a National Miss Agriculture USA Queen or been a National Runner-Up Miss Agriculture USA Queen. This program honors and embraces alumni who’ve represented Miss Agriculture USA on a National Level.


2. Good Standing

It’s important that you passed on your title in good standing, such as being an active queen or returning to Nationals to help and crown your successor, reflecting your dedication to the program’s values and standards.


3. 18 Years Old or Older

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible.


4. Interview Approval

Prospective AGvocates must complete an interview with the Miss Agriculture USA organization. Think of this interview as an opportunity to showcase your excitement, knowledge, and readiness to represent this program.


5. Social Media Commitment

You’ll need to agree to complete at least 24 social media posts dedicated to agriculture AGvocacy and representing National Miss Agriculture USA throughout the year. If you love sharing your passion for agriculture online, you’ll have a blast fulfilling this role!


6. Participate at Nationals

AGvocates will also have the opportunity to participate in the National Competition as a helper to keep the event running smoothly and contribute to the overall success of the competition.

Once you’ve verified that you meet the qualifications, becoming a National Miss Agriculture USA AGvocate is just a few steps away. Here’s how to apply:


1. Complete the application form, providing any necessary details about your past role (National Queen or National Runner-Up) and your passion for agriculture advocacy.


2. Submit your application and await a response regarding your interview.


During your interview, be prepared to share specific examples of how you’ve previously promoted agriculture and how you’d use this opportunity to make an even greater impact.


We will want to know your plan on how you would use the National AGvocate title to promote agriculture and the Miss Agriculture USA organization. This could include organizing events, speaking engagements, school visits, or leveraging social media platforms to educate and inspire others about the importance of agriculture. Additionally, consider how you can represent and grow the Miss Agriculture USA organization by building strong partnerships, fostering connections, and encouraging others to join the organization. Be specific in outlining your vision and the steps you would take to bring it to life.


If your application is accepted, you would need to pay the $99 fee, which would cover the cost of a National Crown, Sash, and additional materials. This investment symbolizes your commitment to representing the Miss Agriculture USA organization with pride and dedication.
