What are your agricultural interests?
“Poultry and beef cattle operations."
What agriculture organizations or activities are you a part of?
“I am a part of my college AG Club at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas and I was also a part of my high school FFA chapter for 4 years.”
What are some of your other activities outside of agriculture?
“Some of my other activities outside of agriculture include baking and helping design floral arrangements at my local florist.”
What success are you most proud of?
“The successes I am most proud of include receiving my state FFA degree at the 90th Texas FFA state convention in 2018 and recently I received my American FFA Degree at the 93rd National FFA Convention this year.”
What or who first got you interested in agriculture?
“The person that got me interested in agriculture would have to be my grandfather because every year he would plant a garden and had a commercial cattle business. When I was little he would let me "drive the tractor" and I also helped him feed cows. This sparked my interest for the agriculture industry and made me realize just how important the ag industry really is.”
Why did you decide to become a Miss Agriculture USA Queen?
“I chose to become a Miss Agriculture USA Queen because I wanted the opportunity to share with people in my community about the importance of agriculture. Becoming a Miss Agriculture USA Queen has helped me with my speaking abilities and has allowed me to meet so many people and for that I am forever grateful.”
What has been your favorite experience as a Miss Agriculture USA Queen?
“My favorite experience as a Miss Agriculture USA Queen has been travelling to different events and fairs because I have had so many interactions with other queens and people in that community. These events have allowed me to share with others about the Miss Agriculture USA program as well as the ag industry.”
What are some of your goals as a Miss Agriculture USA Queen?
“My goal as a Miss Agriculture USA Queen is to get more kids involved in FFA and 4-H. I believe that educating children about the ag industry is crucial if we want future generations of farmers and ranchers in order to keep the agriculture industry alive.”
What advice would you give to someone thinking about being a Miss Agriculture USA Queen?
“The advice I would give to someone thinking about becoming a Miss Agriculture USA Queen is definitely do it!! I have been a part of this amazing organization for 3 years now and I keep coming back because it really is a sisterhood. Everyone is so passionate about agriculture and I can promise you if you decide to become a Miss Agriculture USA Queen you will not regret it!”
